The Acknowledgement Of Sacrifice

Anonymous soldiers
of peace,
Quietly,
Lay down their lives,
Fighting
on the battlefield,
for the freedom
of their country.

Their countrymen
Those who are wise,
from their secure
home's comfort,
close their eyes,
with a condescending sigh,
sipping tea coffee
from a smug mug,
endlessly analyze 
and collectively 
philosophize.
